Chris’ practice focuses on a variety of construction-related commercial and regulatory matters. He advises clients on the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts, contract management, dispute resolution processes, builders lien matters, and regulatory issues related to the environment and occupational health & safety that arise over the lifecycle of a construction project.

Chris prides himself in his ability to assist project owners, developers, contractors and their respective subtrades and suppliers to resolve their commercial disputes or regulatory issues quickly and efficiently. When required, he also represents his clients before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Court of Appeal of British Columbia as well as a variety of administrative tribunals.

Prior to entering private practice, Chris worked as in-house counsel with BC Hydro on the Site C Clean Energy Project. Chris’ technical, interdisciplinary background provides him with the ability to understand and generate practical solutions to complex factual and legal issues.
