Robert’s practice is centered on the resolution of complex construction disputes. He advises clients on contractual matters, delay and deficiency claims, insurance and warranty coverage and builders liens. Robert’s approach emphasizes pragmatism, problem solving and reaching commercially sensible outcomes.  

Robert has extensive experience advising contractors and subcontractors in disputes arising out of major infrastructure projects, including electrical transmission, LNG and large residential construction projects. He also has extensive experience advising strata councils on warranty coverage and deficiency claims.

Robert has represented clients at every level of court in British Columbia and in arbitrations.
