Emma has a varied practice. It includes advising clients on corporate and commercial matters, commercial and construction agreements, builders liens, and construction claims. Emma has had invaluable experience working on site on two multi-billion dollar construction projects during construction. Her experience on these Projects ranged from leading contract negotiations for the procurement team to working with the site’s commercial team to develop and analyze site issues to be resolved through dispute resolution procedures.

Prior to law school Emma obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University. She went onto earn her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in 2017 and joined M&A as an articling student. A highlight for Emma at law school was having the opportunity to be the lead coordinator for TRU’s chapter of a Canada wide legal research initiative aiding the Canadian Council for Refugees to bring a legal challenge and strike down an international agreement that violated charter rights.

Emma is fluent in French and can get by in Spanish. If she is not in the office, you can find her hiking and enjoying all of the beauty that the west coast has to offer.
